22's anyone?

As some may know I just recently purchased a 70 c20 with a 396 in it. Today I went to get it certified so I can transfer it to my name and plate it. While I was there, the mechanic asked if I thought about replacing my 16's with 22's. He's an older guy. They happen to have 2 sets of 4 rims that would fit my 3/4 ton truck. Not sure on the whole story but they got ordered, one set installed and one not. Of course I had wheels off for the mechanical, so we grabbed a rim to test fit it.

I wish I didn't do that. I really like them, they are simple and I think they compliment the truck. I could snag them for just over 250$ each. So 1140 tax included ( 13% tax). Add tires and I'm looking at 2660$ installed out the door.

I wish I had the money, I would have had them bring tires in today so I could get them.

I don't know what make they are either ( name is not important to me, look is).

What do you think?

For tires I would get 265/40 r22

Damn mod bug, no matter what vehicle I own, I can't leave them alone.

I know it's your truck but in my opinion these trucks look better with smaller rims and larger tires. If you like it then that's all that really matters.

I really like these trucks with 20's, 22's or 20/22 stagger. Being a C20, your limited on what will fit but I don't really think that style works with your truck.

I have 16's on it now and kinda like them. These 22's just happen to be at the shop so I had to try one.

Here is the post with pics of my truck.
