66 GMC short step 350 w/350 auto, questions and suggestions!

Hello everyone. Been awhile (last July) since I've been on. I'm finally sending "BigDaddy" to the paint booth this week! Once he comes out I wanted to lower him 3" to 4" and go w/5 lug & disc brakes all the way around. That being said, whats going to be the most practical way to achieve this? Kits from retail or donors, drop spindles or lowering springs (front) and axel flip (rear) (GMC), etc. As with everything else I've done, I'm looking for advice from the experts first!
