I think it is a great idea and a inexpensive way to get the mouldings or the ability to two yone a truck without having to spend 700 on mouldings. Alot of those trucks have had the trim holes filled from a past owner to get the slick look popular in past years. I too might be a buyer for that product. Jim

If you go to your local paint retailers they have several different styles of the 3M stick on trim that are close to stock or they maybe could order it. And if you haven't used it before the 3M double stick molding tape can be used on installing stock trim and works great but insure you pay attention about allowing the paint to cure as per instructions.

Any good vinyl wrapping place could easily do that with black and chrome vinyl... could be done with woodgrain as well.
