2 suspension questions
is Moog essentially TRW? because trw seems to be be a good $10-15 cheaper also what tie rod end are you guys using on your front end rebuilds?

I'm running NAPA's premium brand which right now is precision. I think it used to be MOOG.

I'm currently researching the same thing. Everyone seems to say that yes, Moog and TRW are the same thing now. I can't verify this for myself, but if I go with the TRW tie rods, I'll be saving a lot of money.

From what I have been able to gather Moog and TRW are totally different. Even though they share common part numbers, Moog is a division of Federal-Mogul Corporation and TRW is not. My understanding is Federal-Mogul controls the manufacturing of all Moog parts, and TRW jobs the manufacturing out. Some of the TRW parts might actually be made by Federal-Mogul, but they also have import suppliers.

i see i was researching and i called my local parts store and the guy told me the only good ones would be moog or Macquay norris other then that there was no difference so i bought macquay stuff cuz its cheaper
