1974 power steering gearbox

I was wondering if the hose fitting were the same size on a 1974 Chevy truck power steering gearbox and a 1971 Chevy 1/2 truck power steering gearbox. I found a 1971 with everything I need to complete my parts list, just wanted someone to tell me for sure ( bracket, pulley, and pump).
Thanks,
Scott

Re: 1974 power steering gearbox

I solved my power steering problem, I used a SBC three groove crankshaft pulley and shimmed the single groove power steering pulley with a couple of washers with notches cut into them. I was able to find a power steering bracket for a 1971 Chevy truck, bought a new power steering pump for a 1971 Chevy truck, bought a high pressure hose and return line fitting for a 1974 Chevy truck power steering gear box. It all worked out pretty good. Got the air out the power steering system by lifting the front end up off the ground and turning it side to side more than 20x and now it is working better than I expected. I notched the frame to get the gear box flush with the frame and welded in a piece of metal from a donor frame, still need to weld the back of it for more support. Here's some pics. I still have to replace the steering coupler too.
