finally got a NOS round eye front clip - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

my buddys grandpa had a 76 that he wrecked mildly at some time so the whole front clip was brand new gm parts. everything has ZERO rust except the hood has a little inside. i got..

gm hood
two gm fenders
gm core support
hood hinges
headlight buckets
grille with 454 emblem
bumper
and everything else i need to swap it onto my truck...

for $250
the fenders and core still have the black gel-coat or whatever it is on the inside and outside with gm stamps on them, they were painted with red barn paint with a brush... lol but no rust

how hard is the swap to do?

and i got the 454 with everything i need to swap it out for $300
it runs awesome dont tick knock smoke nuthin

did i get ripped off?

I'm a tad confused, you got all the front pieces that are NOS? Or you found a used front clip that's been installed and painted etc? Nice sheet metal is nice sheet metal though.

now wreck the rear of your truck in a few weeks after it is put together and let me buy it for 200 bucks.

You would not believe how hard that swap is going to be. You should just ship those parts to MO

If it isn't NEW IN THE BOX, then it isn't NOS.

well it was NOS when he put them on right before he quit driving it.. they are like brand new and way good enough for me. ill get some pics of it some time.
