Re: Me showing off

I noticed where you had the bezel edges painted yellow. I did that once with a bright blue, and while I thought it was kind of low key, everybody noticed it and commented on it.
Was that an energy suspension kit in the box? I replaced all my body mounts with those once on a 4x4 project, supposed to be greatest thing ever. Truck rode like ass and in a couple weeks one had split. Replaced them with all GM rubber mounts and it rode like a new truck. Huge waste of money

Yea it was a good idea at the time, but my tape was cheap and blead baddd, so i plan to make a new bezel soon anyways.... stock headlight switch, everything new and improved.

Yes, but they are control arm bushings, im sorry u had a problem, id imagine those poly bushings did bad sense there was really no way to lube them. From what i read poly needs grease often...who knows lol

I first cut the bezel hole from the back with a dremel... then cut the lense and steel reflector behind it to clear anything, I kept the stock guages just incase i ever wanted to go back to stock but with how accurate and highly visible these are, ill never go back....I reccomend these to everyone if they dont mind the lame name being visible on the lenses..

x2 I did this on my 76 and my 79 but when I did it on my 76 I also painted the metal trim panels on the dash and doors the same color I think it turned out good

Never mind the seat I was in the middle of putting things back together and stopped to take a pic

Re: Me showing off

And those panels were originally the same color as the rest of the truck except the guage cluster it was solid black
