factory air with a 5.3

Has anybody on here done an ls swap and hooked up factory air? I put a 5.3 truck motor in my 86 and it has factory air and should be pretty easy to do but the compressor doesnt clear the frame so i'll have to get the brack to relocate it up high but im not sure about hooking the aftermarket compressor that works with my bracket to the factory stuff on the truck

Re: factory air with a 5.3

look in the ls swap forum. for the short answer yes. i have the factory 5.3 a/c compressor in the factory bracket using docs blocks adatpers. I was the person that insisted they make them for the application and they made them and have been selling them ever since.
