Removing bellhousing help needed.
I'm just wondering how hard it is to remove the bellhousing from the motor. What all has to be removed, how many bolts, how hard is it to separate once unbolted, and is there a trick to it. My truck is a 307/sm465 combo if that helps.
Thanks guys. Posted via Mobile Device

Don't have the exact number, but should be around 7 bolts. If there is a lower inspection plate, that may also have to be taken off.
Trans shift linkage, drive shaft, etc.

Not hard to do. Remove the cover from the bottom and the starter and all the bolts going from bell to back of block. Then just give the engine a yank. If it sticks a little, use a pry bar to seperate but use carefully and make sure all bolts are out before hand.
