power lock programming
Anybody know how to change the programing of the way the power locks function on a 1999 Silverado? I have to hit the button to unlock it when I want to get out of the truck and all my others have unlocked when I put it in park or shut the truck off or pulled the keys out of the ignition. They lock automatically once I start moving the truck up to speed. Any help would keep me from braking something.

I cant remember off the top of my head check the owners manual thats where i learned the procedure for my truck if you aint got that let me know and ill dig my manual out of hiding

i do believe on 99's there is no way around it....my brother had a 99 gmc and he took it to the dealer to see about it and they said that they couldnt do anything about it. no way to reprogram it.
