after a year brief intro/update

Aquired my truck back in June and has been worked on pt after work a couple times a week.
Friends of the Family let it sit for 6 years in the driveway until Aunt Alice it delcared it an eye sore and offered her up for free. Uncle Ted wanted $500 but Alice said no so we agreed on a dollar and I slipped uncle Ted a couple BEns on a sidebar.
This truck was a wedding gift and every trip to the pump and its 108k original miles logged. maint records and meticulous service till the day it was parked.
It was the ultimate truck for a hunting and fishing club president back then. Im honored to have the truck and promised Ted I would bring her back.

It had a 64 pullman camper which I removed for the repairs needed

In a yr I was able to:
Fix 72 holes in the cab from the camper boot, strip and paint the cab and front clip, working the doors this weekend.

On the engine, tune up and oil change, refurbished the surviving aux travel tank and removed the cab tank. for now i'll be ok with a 16 gallon tank for cruising. Only have a few pics on this pc but will post more later.

Thanks to everyone on this site as almost everything I have accomplished is via the page and all of those who contribute. Thanks ! Nice to meet u all!

Hi Ed, Thanks for your comment in my Project thread. I really like what you're doing to your truck, too. Take care.
