fuel relay melting need ideas....

I have a 1997 Tahoe 4x4 5.7 with 196,000 on her. well the fuel pump was replaced a year ago, the oil pressure switch 10 months ago.Three days ago I pulled in to the gas staion shut the truck off. went inside came out it started ran 10 seconds and died. Wouldnt start at all. I popped the hood pulled the relay to the fuel pump, hot ass hell, the prong that supplies the pump with power was blue thats how hot. I tapped the relay on the body threw it back in and the truck started right up. same sanerio has happened every day twice a day. I thinking the wiring harness to the pump may be bad but chevy doesnt carry it just the pug connector... any feed back would be great. by the way Ive replaced the relay and it still gets red hot..
