Some hesitation issues...

Howdy guys!
I've got a 1988 C2500 with the 5.7 350 workhorse, it's starting to develop a weird hesitation problem. When I stop at a light, it idles rough. When I try to take off, it feels like it's choking, I mean rough. Then it will all be ok. If I'm cruising, it runs smooth, rough, smooth again, rough, and keeps doing that. I really don't know what to do. I sprayed throttle body cleaner in the TBI to no avail, I'm gonna put a fuel filter on it tomorrow to see how that goes.

Does anybody have any idea as to what could cause this?

Thanks for reading!
