Do you have a spare tire?

I bolted my spare in the bed. It has a pad lock on it. I know it can be cut with bolt cutters, but it will slow the punk thieves down. I will have a hub cap on it .

Re: Do you have a spare tire?

One evening at work some guys went through the parking lot and stole the spare tires out of all of the cars in the parking lot.

same here, and AAA so if my girlfriend clean'd out my truck befor come'n to pick me at air port and figure'd who need's a jack or a lug wrench clutter'n up space behind the back seat and I hit a pot hole in Nashvile at 10:00 at night I'm still cover'd. course it took 27 minute's of explain'n to the tire service guy the concept of 22'5s and A-dapter's on a 1 ton truck, but bout an hour later we was back on our way home so I could buy another 22" tire . think I'll make the Grandyoung'ns a rope swing outta the new 22 with a big hole in it !

Re: Do you have a spare tire?

I have a jack I have to carry in a box. I will have to bolt the box it to the floor bed also. I could bolt it in the floor inside the cab, and also make a cup holder out of it.

Re: Do you have a spare tire?

No I don't and I also pulled the carrier out and threw it away. I don't drive mine much so it doesn't bother me....

Re: Do you have a spare tire?

I have full size spares in all my trucks except for the big '79 I don't have a fullsize extra 40" swamper laying around haha! Most of the time I have to go borrow a floor jack or get mine cause they all sit so high up though.

Re: Do you have a spare tire?

I have a spare tire, except it's a bald 31" and it's next to useless. But it's at home so if I get a flat, I'm SOL until I get back home..

Re: Do you have a spare tire?

I kept my spare in the bed and a scissor jack from 88-98 c/k truck behind the seat but the jack was useless in the front even if the tires were aired up
