Fuel pump to carb line.
I went at the fuel line fitting at the carb with a crescent wrenche in an attempt to change the filter. I turned the larger fitting and it turned easily. The problem was i was too stupid to realize that the fuel line was twisting as well. Now the truck wont start and i think it is due to the line being pinched. Are there an alternatives to buying a new $25 line from LMC? I also dont really want to bend line. Is there any way to use rubber hose?

Re: Fuel pump to carb line.
I would just cut off the steel line after the alternator and run a fuel hose and also you'll need a fitting to go to the carburetor

Re: Fuel pump to carb line.
Will it work if I just cut it off and slide a rubber hose over the cut off part? Or do I need to flare the end?

Re: Fuel pump to carb line.
IMO, its not necessary to flare if all your doing is putting the rubber hose on it. Mine has been running for years this way, no leaks. Just be sure it's fuel line and sized properly.
