Front bumper on the back

I have been driving this truck for a while now with no rear bumper, so i decided to do something about it. I've had this front bumper kicking around and today was the day to put it to use. Made a couple of cuts and built some brackets for it, and before i knew it I had my rear bumper. Looks a little weird i think, but maybe that's just because i'm not used to having a bumper. What do you guys think?

Re: Front bumper on the back

Wow! When I read the title, I was sceptical. It looks awesome! I would only put the bolts in the remaining holes. Weld em from the back maybe?

I actually like it. Looks custom but stock at the same time.

Re: Front bumper on the back

you would get a ticket here for no tag light.

I do like the mod however, pretty neat.

Re: Front bumper on the back

You can get an LED strip light that mounts using the license plate bolts. I got one for my dump conversion since the stock lights won't work with the bed and bumper moving up and down at the same time when dumping. I previously had Lite-N-Boltz, which are LED lights in a license plate bolt, but they were so weak you could not read the license plate - probably not legal. Strip lights are available in Ebay.

Looks good. You also can't beat free. Can you open the tailgate though?

Re: Front bumper on the back

Looks good. Maybe get a couple button LEDs for the bolt holes, brake or backup?
