exhaust at front of rear tires. Check!!

Well... I cut my holes through the trailing arm cross member months ago. Now the hard part was finding someone to bend the pipe the way I wanted it and have it exit in a nice way. After several weeks of going to this place and that, telling me its impossible I finally found a place that said no problem. Just thought I'd let people know don't give up there's always that one place.

Pics or it didn't happen

I cut sections of 5" tubing and welded it up on my own when I did the side exit on my 03.

I welded 4" pipe in the cross member . the actual O.D is 4.5 " I have long tube headers so they had to go back upward after the mufflers. Hopefully too much moister won't stay down there. Its all trial and error.

Lol, now I look like an idiot in my post

Looks good, I'm glad you tucked it up nice and close to the body, I hate seeing them sagging down too low.

My one suggestion would be to either get a slash cut tip and turn it sideways, or angle cut the pipe to make it flow with the body of the truck more.

You can kinda see how I did it on my 03 here, I never got any good closeup pictures of it though. Just a couple months after I did this there were about 3 other truck running around with the same setup, but only one was tucked up close to the body like mine, the other two didn't curve up after going under the framerail, resulting in about a 3-4" gap under the fender.

Talking Re: exhaust at front of rear tires. Check!!

I'm looking for oval or rectangle tips that are cool and go with the angle that they come out at. I had the exhaust guy run them long so I can cut them back and weld the tips on. Its alway something we are looking for but the right stainless tips should'nt be too hard to find.
