FWIW, cutting down a LWB chassis isn't a big deal and they are much more numerous. For instance, in '69, in just the C-10 variety, there were a total of 55k SWB, compared to 239K LWB.

It's just a suggestion.....

i still have my lwb but i don't have the skills to cut and weld my own. wish i did, but i don't. so buying a swb is my only option
