Hubcap Confusion...

Looking at dog dish style hub caps for 4x4s it seems there is always 2 solid hubcaps and 2 with the centers removed. I assume this is just for access to the lockout hubs and not for clearance.

Would I be able to use 4 solid dog dish style hubcaps to clear my auto locking hubs on my 4x4? Or would I need a set with 2 having holes just for clearance reasons in the front? Thanks.

Re: Hubcap Confusion...

You still need the 4wd front caps because the hub sticks out through the cap.
