Locker

Has anyone used or know anyone who has used the Eaton Detroit Truetrac? Spider gears in my Sierra kicked the bucket so I decided to put a locker in it.

Re: Locker

The TrueTrac is what pretty much everyone recommends to replace the gov bomb in the 10 bolts. I've never personally used one since I've never owned anything with a 10 bolt.

Re: Locker

Yukon Gear makes an awesome locker for the 10 bolts as well. so far its been the best locker i have ever used. the price is a littler cheaper than the detroit true trac.

Re: Locker

I have the Yukon Gear DuraGrip series #YDGGM8.5-3-30-1 in a 02 Silverado 1/2 ton 4x4 and it has been prolly the best upgrade i have done. It works awesome. Way better than the Auburn Gear Pro-Series locker I once had in a 99 Silverado.

Re: Locker

Well I wound up buying the Truetrac. I'm very happy with it. Wish I would have bought it a LOT sooner.
