Rally wheel center cap options

The rally wheels on my '71 have center caps that bolt from the back. They are metal, and over time have pitted. The estimate that I got to restore them is $125.00 each. I'm looking for alternatives, but I like the look of the cap that bolts from the back. The rallys were originally on a '76.

Thanks,

Eddie

You can buy brand new caps for $125 each. Hunt for NoNeck. He's building good looking custom caps. Here's a link to his thread.

Re: Rally wheel center cap options

The alternative that I had in mind was replacing the center cap. These things are OEM and made out of pot metal. The chrome is pitted bad, and they are dull. I made pictures of them and sent them to a couple of chrome shops. The lowest cost to restore/rechrome them was $125.00 each. My next thought was cost of replacement. I can find center caps that bolt from the front all day long. Finding caps that bolt from the back has not been successful.

myoldchevytruck,
I like the looks of your blue bowtie stickers. The photo is kind of dark, I can't tell just how dark blue the bowties are. Are they a dark, or medium blue? Are they vinyl? I'm interested. Maybe get a set for my 68 too.
