Not feeling well, how about some pics 63 Step

I am not feeling well enough to work on anything today, so since I am new to this site and you all have been helpful already I thought I would post some pics of my project.
My Dad's Aunt and her husband bought this truck new in 63, she sold it to my Dad in about 84 when she had to go to assisted living. I have been working on it for many years now,it's a slow go, but I enjoy it.

Here are a few more pics. This truck lived in the Sandhills of Nebraska all it's working life. I found a lot of sand everywhere, but the cross member had a whold sand pile in it. Here is a pic of the 350 sitting in it's new home for the first time and a pic of how it sits today 6.12.11, ps I hate being sick.

No doubt about it, being sick sucks. Nice progress on the truck. Hope you're back out in the garage soon.

Yep, feel for ya 63 - hope you get better soon. I'm just now slowly getting off crutches and getting around after 8+ weeks of pretty much no activity. Did a lot of truck building in my mind though! What docs thought was a stress fracture turned out to be a long-arse gout attack. Had no idea that crap could be so painful! Anyhoo, finally got to the right doc and it's starting to get sorted out. You'll get back out there soon, in the meantime, plan your next move and make the most of the time when are able to get back out there. Other than that, guess it's a good time to catch up on your favorite reruns. I think I've seen every episode of the X-files and Frasier about 4 times...

Oh man Jacko, that would suck big time! I know some people that have had gout and it can be ER painful, I can't imagine how it would be to have to wait that long to get the dx for that. I just have a sinus cold, I am just a bit of a wiener when it comes to being sick on the weekend and the weather is really nice.

You also hit the nail on the head with planning the next step, that is my most difficult part, what to do next and how to do it.

Thanks.
