Re: made in the USA floorpans

I know that Tabco advertises 'Made in The USA' repair parts, but I have read of a couple guys that bought their parts only to receive Chinese made parts.
I don't know if that was an isolated incident or not.

If they recieved Chinese parts they should have returned them. We sell the same made in usa parts as Tabco does and they are made in usa not TW

I need to order up a bunch of sheetmetal for my '66. Do you have any forum discounts or specials going?

Re: made in the USA floorpans

This is the crap Tabco sent me a few years ago. They did send replacement floor pans after almost a year of me bugging them and they were almost as bad.

Drivers side

Passenger side

When they finally sent the replacement floor pans they told me the dies for the pans had been broken sometime in the past, that's why the pans were messed up.

I had also bought left and right front cab mounts and they sent me 2 rights but they were marked left and right. When I told them they sent me two rights they said the dies for the left mount had been broken and most people didn't use the complete mount. (might have the left and right thing mixed up as it was few years ago but you all get my meaning)

The rocker panels I had bought had been trimmed too short so they didn't go up the A and B pillar far enough. The cab corners were way off and the kick panels were for a 68-72 (as were the floor pans)

That was my experience with Tabco.

Re: made in the USA floorpans

Wow thos floor pans are messed up! I think the Chinese ones I've used were better than that. Obviously 'Made in USA' doesn't necessarily mean they are better.....that's too bad.
