Re: Good Craigslist find!
Why go thru all of the work to leave the dash/A pillars painted another color?
I might check the body work with a magnet

Re: Good Craigslist find!
There's a tailgate for sale in the parts forum that costs more than that.
Good buy.

Re: Good Craigslist find!
oh please.. you mean a truck you can actually haul stuff in etc? I didnt even click this ad... just sayin long beds are sexy.. I have yet to of ever bought a swb. They are cool for show trucks (imho, not to upset anyone) but lwb are MUCH easier to use to haul.

Re: Good Craigslist find!
For sure. $1995 is a killer price....but that is a dealer selling it, so I would be even more wary.

I am not gonna get into a I had this or that debate with you.. I have owned pro street vehicles as well, owned a Musclecar parts store in the 90s and been on the track many times. None of that has a damn thing to do with you crapping up this dudes thread with your LWB SUCKS mentality.. Its just like the GMC is better than Chevy or ELCamino is really a truck.. all of these are debated weekly on the site, and usually end due to some loudmouth opinionated ass ruining it for all. In closing I offer you this perhaps after popping a few, you would have a better time posting. Thanks. Kevin.. thank you for your post. That is valuable info that I am sure is appreciated by the OP. I really do understand more everyday, your not wanting to post due to immature folks around here. It is a shame. |

Re: Good Craigslist find!
Tex, have you dealt with this dealer before? Is he like one of those "junkyard build" guys on the reality tv series? It would really suck if he were. Was the soup can original for that year?

Re: Good Craigslist find!
Not at all. He's just in one of those cheap tote-the-note used car rows on the highway. Judging by his place and the area, he knows what cars are worth. I wouldn't expect too good a deal from the place. Maybe fair, maybe more, but those guys aren't gonna give anything away too cheap.
