327 PCV Grommet
Hey guys.
I need some help locating a PCV grommet for a 327. The 327 is a transplant from a '66. The grommet is located in the block back by the distributor and oil pressure switch. Any idea? Thanks. Q

Re: 327 PCV Grommet
I have a setup like this... looking for the grommet shown here:
http://www.parts123.com/parts123/yb....~Z5Z5Z5~Z5Z5Z5 I searched the PN shown and found this on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1963-...#ht_1324wt_939 I wonder if that would work. Q

Re: 327 PCV Grommet
That port is where the road draft tube is connected... pcv is usually located in the valve cover.
If your valve covers have a port use that and plug the road draft port on the block with an appropriate sized freeze plug. The road draft tube vents crankcase pressure straight into the air. |

Re: 327 PCV Grommet
The following thread shows installations with both a grommet and post #13 shows the early adapter nipple that bolted in the block hole with the same bolt that originally fastened the road draft tube:

Awesome link. Thanks very much! Here is the setup I have, along with a vented cap on the oil fill tube... I'm sure I can come up with the right combination of parts to get it done. Thanks again. Q
