does anyone make a 2 nob radio that fits in the stock location thats not to expensive? The truck is a 79'. I want to use my iphone for music but dont want to hack the dash. I also would like to try and find a radio before i go and mount a radio in the glove box or something like that.

Re: new radio stock location.

check ebay for an old school Alpine or Sony 2 shaft. You can get one for cheap, maybe craigslist, too.

Re: new radio stock location.

You could also get one of these. Not much money and has an Aux jack on the front.

Or one of these from Custom Autosound.

Re: new radio stock location.

I was looking for one from Kenwood, but couldn't find it until after I posted. I used to put them all the time when I was in college doing car audio to pay the bills. It is a KRC-2006 from Kenwood. They worked well and sounded decent. There is one on eBay right now here.
