Officially Out Of "The Club"
Well, she's gone. Sold my truck to a gentleman from Berlin, Germany. He had a guy in L.A. buying up classics for him. Would have liked to keep it but it was killing me on gas. Got this now:
Saw a flat black '69 C-10 and almost went for it, but it was time for a change.

Re: Officially Out Of "The Club"
Looks like your truck will provide some farfegnugen for someone. Always tough to let them go. The good news is that there's always another available when you're ready.

Re: Officially Out Of "The Club"
Kinda funny- the German will be driving American iron & the American is driving German "iron". You'll get another one someday!

Re: Officially Out Of "The Club"
Man that's funny, I had a guy contact me from Germany wanting to buy one I had for sale on Craigs List. He seemed legit...They must be interested in these there, kind of cool as I like VW's as well...trade off I suppose.

Re: Officially Out Of "The Club"
Sorry to hear that Sin! But they come and go here, I am sure you will pick up another one someday and are just "in between" trucks right now. Are you going to Brothers this year?

Re: Officially Out Of "The Club"
Yeah, I'm going to miss how easy it was to work on, the VW is rather complex under the hood. Might have to pickup another truck in the future. Hey Scott, I hadn't thought about Brothers, I might go.
