A Fathers Poem…
Mender of toys, leader of boys, Changer of fuses, kisser of bruises, Bless him, O Lord. Mover of couches, soother of ouches, Ponder of nails, teller of tales, Reward him, O Lord. Hanger of screens, counselor of teens, Fixer of bikes, chastiser of tykes, Help him, O Lord. Raker of leaves, cleaner of eaves, Dryer of dishes, fulfiller of wishes, Bless him, O Lord.

I still can't get over how cute Johnny is. I see an inseparable bond between you 2. I admire that.

Happy Father's Day!!
To all the Dad's here on the boards, I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Father's Day. Take the day and enjoy your family, and your truck too, since it's also like one of the kids. LOL

Re: Happy Father's Day!!
Happy Fathers day to everyone. I plan to spend the day with fmily and my truck. I am currently not a father yet. My first child is due in december.
My family is having a picnic at my dads house. I plan to take my 68 stepside out for the day. Alot of my family has never seen this one and I seem to be the guy known for all the classic cars in the family. So I have to keep up the tradition. I hope everyone out there stays safe and has a great fathers day. |

Re: Happy Father's Day!!
We are going to have an all day thing at my brother-in-laws, should be a good time.
I will have to wait until we return home to be with my trucks because we are over 2,000 miles away from home. We are in the California. We saw a lot of old trucks on the way out in different states, most of them seemed to be used to work in the western states before we reached California. Hope all the Fathers on here have a great day no matter what you do.

Re: Happy Father's Day!!
Here's a pic from yesterday with my boy and the Scouts.
Today we're having a family day - all but one of my children will be here. My daughters are singing in church. I'm looking forward to that. |

Re: Happy Father's Day!!
This is a great day for me, Father''s day with my son and grandson at the biggest car show in Michigan, in Hastings. Then back to my son's for Steaks and cake and ice cream.
Topping it off with my mom's 86th birthday and more cake and ice cream. She's in very good health. Wishing a fantastic Father's day to everyone on the forum, and prayers and best wishes for all those wonderful guys who are defending our freedom every day.

Happy Fathers day everyone, My son made me a painted rock with a nose and eyes, then glued one of my new wrenches to it and said it was me, lol. Children are such a blessing.

Re: Happy Father's Day!!
I went to a car show here in town with my dad which was cool saw alot of nice cars, ate some good food and ran into some people i know as well as met some good people. The show was put on by a local church for fathers day and they may make the show a yearly event every fathers day. Also got to speak to all of my kids since i currently live 175 miles away i would have went down to phoenix to visit with them but ive been fighting off a cold and the flu for the last week or so and i really didnt feel like driving that far in that condition.I will make it up to them though.

Re: Happy Father's Day!!
What did all the other Father's out there get on our special day?
Me... well I got some cute "cards" from my two wonderful daughter......and a broke foot from my lovely wife. Ok not sure if it is broke yet, but it is the same foot I have broke before (same spot) and it feels pretty much just like it did last time. Will see how it feels tomorrow.

Re: Happy Father's Day!!
wow, what a cool day!!
I had a nice quiet morning walking around neighborhood drinking my coffee. then went with oldest to a sale at a widow friend of mine for lota of wood working tools followed up with a trip to Menards for a bunch of wood. he surprised me with a compressor/nailer combo. then a good 90 minute nap on couch to recharge. next I took TJ to a big playground for a couple hours. took both boys and Kyle's best friend bowling, dinner at IHOP, and the grand finale.....GO KARTS!!!!!!
