LED tail lights for burbs?
Anybody know if they make led tail lights for our burbs? I did a search and came up with nothing.

Re: LED tail lights for burbs?
I was told by Stan over at Early Classic ( www.earlyclassic.com ) that their C-10 kits would work on a burb...

Re: LED tail lights for burbs?
I have a set of LED tail lights and reverse lights that I bought off a member here who makes them. I went a different way with custom lights so I'm willing to sell them. PM me if you want but give me a couple of days as I'm busy at the moment.
thx, Al.

Re: LED tail lights for burbs?
thats the tough thing about led lights, when even a few burn out it throws off the whole light. i had a led strip on my s10 long ago..a few started burning out at first then a whole side went out! these were my only lights since i had the entire rear end shaved..
i dont think i will go back to led's unless its just a led bulb..

Re: LED tail lights for burbs?
So they are different than the truck lights then?
Reason I ask is I have a set I bought when I had my 67 truck and was thinking of just dropping them into my 67 Suburban. But now it sounds like they may not fit at all??

Re: LED tail lights for burbs?
have dug them up, I have a set for my truck and my Burb, they are the same, however the reverse LED's are different. both are for sale. Just found the link to what I paid;
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=256197 $90 for the brakes, and $50 for the reverse plus shipping. LMK, thx, Al.

Re: LED tail lights for burbs?
I used superbrightleds.com and ordered them in the 1157 style that way I used the stock plug, no need to change wiring and if it goes bad on the road a standard 1157 can pop right back in there. Oh did I mention they are $4.99 ea.
My main goal was to improve the lighting all they way around and still keep the amp draw to a minimum. And they make wedge bulbs of different config.and colors for marker lights and/or dash lighting.

Re: LED tail lights for burbs?
I was at a shop that stocked LED lights for trucks, we popped out my Burb taillight to see if it would fit (leaving a flush look), but they will not. Different size. Close, but different.
The only option I've found is to buy the lights that drop in behind the standard red Burb taillight lens, but I haven't done it yet.

Re: LED tail lights for burbs?
It seems that this guy ripped off some people and never mailed their lights. In fact, this thread was closed after 06/2010.

Re: LED tail lights for burbs?
I'll pop my lens off and put up a pic of the LEDs I use, it was a Miagi install " Twist off ... Twist on " no wiring and fitment issues.

That looks like after and after! Need some side by side of before w/the old bulbs! They look good though.
