She's alive!!

Just had to brag a little cause I'm pretty pumped.

I've posted a couple time before about the 57 1/2 ton I'm getting to play with. It hasn't run in atleast 4 years. I put a battery in it yesterday and the motor would at least turn over. This morning I drained the gas tank which was prety much empty anyway. 5 gallons of new gas and disconnected the fuel lines from the carb and turn the motor to make sure I was getting fuel.

I wasn't getting fire so back to the parts store in search of plugs, wires, points, and rotor. Yes, I was going for the shotgun approach Three parts stores later all I found in stocks was the points so I ordered the rotor and plugs to be here tomorrow.

Being impatient as I am I came back, put the rotor in and checked the gap. pulled the plugs and brushed them off and corrected the gap there. Decided to try it again and holy crap she fired right up!

I just had to share my excitement with somebody. Back to your regularly scheduled day now

On the list for tomorrow:
