Recommend Headers

Does anyone recommend any specific brand of headers. I have a 355 S/B and my passenger side headers has a hairline crack.

This will be a good time to replace my entire exhaust. Any help would be great, thanks.

Re: Recommend Headers

That's pretty much up to debate many go back to a manifold or a performance version of them. Generally speaking, you get what you pay for. Since you are going to be doing the exhaust think about the big picture. Will you be tucking it (want headers and mufflers to show?) budget?.

Well I have never been there, but my guidelines are anything that has the thicker 3/8 flange has a better build quality and don't leak as much.

Re: Recommend Headers

The headers sold by Early Classic are very nice and have been working for me for over two years without a problem.

Re: Recommend Headers

+1 on the not Flowtech. I tried a set of Hooker Competition on mine, took them off. Put some new ramshorn manifolds on it never been happier.
