I need help reassembling my truck
First off, I started with a 65 chevy long bed complete truck,
Then I picked up a 64 long bed frame with a 62 BBW cab sitting atop, not mounted. After that, I bought short fleet bedsides. Im putting the 65 front sheet metal, 62 cab and short bedside together with the long bed crossrails on top the 64 frame. My issues: 1. I lost the majority of the front end bolts. I didnt take it apart myself so i dont know what kind/size go where and in what order. I need a guide, and a lot of the bolts sizes. Does anyone make a bolt kit? 2. I need to know what bed rails I need for my shortbed? 3. I lost the rear 1/2 ton cab mounts, and the 64 frame has the 3/4 ton style cab mounts. Anyone have a set? |

Re: I need help reassembling my truck
Go to a pick n pull around your area and find a truck like yours and start taking it apart and save the bolts. They put yours back together with those bolts. I don't know if they charge for bolts at Pick and Pull or not.

Re: I need help reassembling my truck
Its in the mid 90's already. Add to the radiating heat at the yards and lack of old trucks, I dont think thats a good idea. lol.
Ill try to go if an overcast day comes up. |

Re: I need help reassembling my truck
Most of the front sheetmetal hardware is 5/16-16 x 1.
