Engine Stamp
Hey a buddy of mine needs an engine id figured. he brought it to me so i don't know if the O's are zeros but if someone could break this down for me so i can relay it back to him id appriciate, thanks!

Small block, or big block? It has a Tonawanda stamp, so it could be a BB.
If it is a SB, I would guess that it is CMJ '74 - '76 350 4bbl from a police car (full size) or '80 305 from a full-size or Camaro

sorry, its a small block, the guy might not have wrote those last three letters correctly, my guess is a CMJ. Besides engine code, what is another way to tell a 350 from a 305? Or is this the only way to go about it..... thanks for the help Blazer!
