ok guys, i received some more parts for my C10 today, and bought some last night....heres what else i got.

NOS GM Chrome "Sport" rear bumper from Classic Parts for $109.95!!

Exhaust turn downs and clamps so i can dump my exhaust before the rear axle

I have a rear bumper bracket kit coming along with bumper bolts for my truck, doubt ill have them by Sat. but i should by next Mon or Tues.

yeah, unfortunately, i opted out from buying their bumper brackets as they said on the phone today theres no "kit" for 81-87 trucks, and the 4 brackets ALONE with no hardware was $206.80! So i ended up buying the LMC rear bumper brace KIT WITH hardware for 130, as well as the "32" pc. bumper bolt kit for 20, both totaling $149 together, which is probably about $100 under what id pay from classic parts

alrighty guys, got truck buttoned up tonight, got 4 shocks on, got exhaust dumped, and took a few vids of exhaust, one before the dump, one after dump in the air and one after dump at ride height.

Let me know what you guys think of exhaust sound difference, it DEF sounded diff in person, not sure how well video will show the diff or not.

ok guys, completion of "phase I" is close to being done, i got brackets from UPS today for rear bumper and proceeded to install it. Since lic. plate frame is on back order i will have to just wire tie my plate in temporary for now. Heres some pics after i got rear bumper on!

Please let me know what you guys think of it thus far.

im starting to think maybe itd be a good idea for a mod or admin to come in here and combine both my threads into one and put it into the project/build sections since im basically going to end up doing a build on this truck. Heres a link to my initial thread

109.95 is one hell of a deal. I just ran that part number through OEConnection and theres only 5 dealers in the whole country with one in their inventory! The cost alone from GM is 203.68! I'm definitely gonna be getting one for my truck!

so one last thing i found out was that my front tires WOULD NOT work with the drop kit AT ALL. I got truck done and went to back out of my driveway, went slowly and at an angle, and my tire STILL contacted my inside lip of outer fender, ripping/cutting CHUNKS off my treaded sidewall/corner of the tire and slightly bending down the inside lip of the fender, so saturday morning i went to 3 places for a mad dash on new tires. Heres what came about.
