Rear Brake Lines??

So one day me and my dad where messing around with our trucks on some open roads. Something came out of exhaust and put a pin hole in the brake hose. So i figures ah no biggie just a hose and back on the road. Well i found out that when my dad and grandpa first pieced the truck together they had a love for vise grips. So the lines would not come off the hose so i had to take the lines off from the Wheel cylinders. During the cpp show and cruise i went the the truck and car shop in organe and bought a new hose and both rear stainless brake lines. But they dont fit the hose fits fine but the lines are to short. Anyone run into this problem will post pictures tomorrow. The truck is a 68 with a 72 Rear end. Brake hose and lines were purchased for a 72.

I used the rear hardline kit from POL and everything fit fine. I used the CPP kit up front and it fit well also. You should hit up Jeff Norton (screen name CPP JEFF - he works there) and see if he can help you. He usually hangs out in the suspesion section.

Not sure if you noticed, but the 68 and 72 rear hardline routing is completely different. The 72 hardline snakes around and goes through the rear cross member above the diff. The 68 hardline goes in front of the rearend and the junction block is on the side of the rear. I think I have pictures if you need. If one line is too short just reroute it or go get a new straight one and bend it up. real easy and no flares required.
