valve cover?

After a quick searck looks like I ordered junk{stamped steel/chrome}nonetheless there are 1 hole in each cover{pcv/breather}.Do I need to holesaw another hole for adding oil?Or use the breather hole?Seems like it would drain very slow.Thanks,Mel

cheap valve covers without baffels allow PCV to suck and burn alot of oil in the engine

i drilled a second hole on the driver's side cover (a/c compressor on pass side), its less mess to add oil and i don't have to remove anything but the oil cap to add oil. on the early valve covers, drill right between the hold down bolts, that will put it between the rockers.

Thats what I did,using a grommet and breather right now as a fill cap.Thanks for the info.

Here is the result.Did alittle engine bay clean-up this weekend.The new fill is under the bowtie breather,will end up with more of a oil filler cap but it will work for now.

with your metal fuel line in contact with the engine block and the rubber hose resting on the heated water hose iit would not surprise me if you'd run into a vapor lock problem from the overheated gasoline

The metal line does not touch the block but the rubber is on the heater hose.Going to add new plumbing/filter from pump to carb.Thanks for the heads up.
