home stretch...chopped 72
bought this may 1 and have put in some late nights to knock it out.body work(rockers, cab corners,a little rust in the doors, lots of dings and dents)new paint, viper red,new interior ,swapped out the muncie for a th350 and added a tilt wheel.c-notched it and painted the frame and suspension satin black....getting real close now, hoping to have it pretty much knocked out in a couple more weeks.my wife will drive this when i take the blazer out this summer ...hoping to hit a few good cruise ins.

Re: home stretch...chopped 72
Ive seen plenty of our style chopped trucks, and the one thing Ive noticed is that when its a stepper the flow always looks better (to me anyway). Nice rides.

Re: home stretch...chopped 72
i should have mentioned that my job got downsized a couple of months ago due to a buyout of my old company by another, so i have had some spare time! here are a few more before ,the pile of wires was from several stereo installations, alarms and every other add on they could find.the last one is my new tailgate i made...i have a louver press that i knocked the dust off of i havent used it in a long time so i punched it to match the hood..i think it looks pretty good.i dont know why i just have never been big on non functional tailgates.

Re: home stretch...chopped 72
I am not a fan of copped tops but this one actually looks pretty good on a stepside. In less than two months you have done an awesome job.....keep the picts coming

Re: home stretch...chopped 72
YOU SUCK!
I HATE YOU! I'M ENVIOUS! (Did I mention I HATE you)! They are BOTH actually beautiful. Wishing I had the $$ for paint on mine. But then again I'm an ungratful little B****H.

Re: home stretch...chopped 72
Now that's determination. Less than two months to turn that one around. Well done. The downsizing sucks but look on the bright side.

Re: home stretch...chopped 72
steps and tailgate done...no more painting!.took it out for a spin today, actually drove pretty nice and the power windows are fun to play with!i may raise the front a little it is kinda low.interior is cozy,it seems a little strange sitting on the lowered seat, the brackets are cut down to the floor...but i will get used to it.

Re: home stretch...chopped 72
Usually when I see the word "chop" as associate with these trucks, I think...oh no!! Not in this case. Mild chop doesn't make this look out of proportion......beautiful truck!

Re: home stretch...chopped 72
Agreed, both vehicles are beautiful and the subtle chop works for me as well. Great work!
