She's coming today

It's taken a while to get everything arranged but she left last Friday and should be here this afternoon the bummer is I work nights and run out of town so just a few minutes to see her and then I will have to go to work and won't be back for a couple of days. But will have pics up this weekend.

3/4 Ton.

Nice!

Now you can sleep tonight.

Be sure to get up a couple times to check on her - after the first night she'll be fine.

Re: She's coming today

wheres the 3/4 ton love, it looks great, just put the power steering, disc brakes, and tilt on it...........

I have a 3/4 ton 88 burb you can have for salvage value, it has the front 8 hole disc brakes, tilt, powersteering, etc. You could just use the front crossmember and you would not have to spend all that money slamming it.

Nice! From the pictures it looks like the right side of the cab lines up with the bed better than the left side. If it is not an optical illusion, check your cab mounts. 3/4 tons are different than 1/2 tons, however 1/2 tons last longer. I think discs, PB, PS and tilt will be great additions. If you have a 4.56 rear end then maybe a switch to 4.10's or an overdrive trans. Its a good looking truck with the capacity to do some work too! Love the 3/4 tonners!

Ya gotta check the mounts it's not lined up right but it was pulled apart by my father-in-law for paint so something might be off as for the rear it will have to wait but eventually I want to drop in a 5 lug 12 bolt with discs and 3:73's and a 700R4 someday. Budgets a little thin after the purchase so have to start small definitely POWER steering first. I already have the pump and bracket and have a line on the steering box and I know the paypal account for a certain member who makes the mounting bracket so it shouldn't be too bad. As for the 3/4 ton love as the poster above put it is there some loss of love it you lower one of these. I'm sorry but this thing is just criying out to be lowered I'm not gonna lay it out (not at first anyway) I just intend to do a nice 3-4 drop and sit with that for a while.

I appreciate the offer but I could probably get everything here for the same price as buying yours and having it hauled over here. As for the love I'm not gonna slam it I just want it down to a reasonable level a nice 3-4 drop should do it and I was gonna buy the tilt column from classic it's really nice and chrome for an unbeleivable price. As for the power steering I have the parts lined up but thanks again and I hope I don't create too much hate by lowering it, as for the 8 lug's they will have to go too I want a 12 bolt with 5 lugs, more wheels options that way.

You might be surprised, the 5 x 5 lug pattern is limited as to what is on the market. the 6 lug pattern opens up wheels from all the newer trucks. I did the 5x5 and wish I had stayed 6 lug.....oh well you cannot even give away parts these days.....ha ha....

Came out of Pico Rivera was a family member's truck I used to live in Chino and Pico before that now we're out here. He was gonna paint it the traditional way and then he almost went up to the regular belt line but he dicided to go a little lower to be different.

Ya I just want to be able to run the 18" Ralley wheels that are out there and didn't mean any offense about your offer just funds are tight now so will have to piece it together slowly. Thanks again.
