body/year related question
i'm looking for some quick clarification regarding body changes...
'99-02 silverados are one truck and then the '03-06 are other, right? and sierras basically have the same body all the way through, right?

Re: body/year related question
The front end sheetmetal was refreshed in '03 on both trucks, but the Sierra looks much more similar than the Silverado version. There are a few minor changes to the interior (dash font, window switch bezels, etc) but from the doors back are the same.

Re: body/year related question
2500hd's are essentially 1 tons while 1500hds are 3/4 tons. I think the GVWr's are only 200lbs off the next higher class for each.
2500 non hd trucks exist for 99 up. Again the only diff between those and 1500hd's is 200 or so in GVWR. Many quadrasteers in 03 and 04 were non hd 2500's.
