Yes, and it was debated endlessly if it was legit or not. I do not think a concensus was reached.

What's interesting, is that with only 80 miles on it, there's a 70's style Mobil oil changed sticker on the drivers door. Couldn't make out the miles on it though. I would say that it's definitely a very low mileage barn find truck, for sure.

However, there's nothing like being in front of it and seeing it first hand and the documentation.

With it tucked away, out of the sunlight, would the wheel be so discolored compared to the horn button? If you're selling one that is discolored and this is legit....can't say the sun did it! Beautiful truck....I want a barn find!

I think the consensus was it's too bad it's not a BB Super. As it is, the only thing particularly remarkable about it is the condition and mileage, both of which can never get better. Not really interesting enough for museum material.

This truck was in the Mecum Auction in Kansas City last December (I think) but did not sell. I wonder what happened to it?

Re: RARE 1970 Chevy Pickup w/only 79 .6 Miles

It's an interesting truck that has come up a few times. I think it's cool to see any older vehicle with so few miles, and certainly fun to see brought up again. Here are some threads on it if you want to read previous banter:
