Question Grille question>????

If I am running a 69-70 front end will aa 71-72 grille still fit correctly? The grille that i want says it only fits 71-72 so i am trying to see if i can still use it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Grille question>????

not to sure. i just put a new grille on my 72. when i was looking through the magazines just for kicks and gigles they used the same part number for the mounting brackets so i would assume so. i dont blame you there is a huge price difrence in the two grilles that is what made me look at the mounting brackets for the difrent years.

Re: Grille question>????

10-4. Yea I found another thread that says it does work just have to use the 72 bumper for blinkers/ or mount them behind the grille.

Re: Grille question>????

A '71-72 outer will bolt up to the '69-70 fenders. I currently have a '71 outer billit inner on my '70. Hit a deer and couldn't afford a replacement 69-70 grill set for it at the time
