8-454 emblem question

Did chevy or gmc have the "8-454" emblems from the factory? i am looking for a set to put on my truck, but not really sure they ever came out with them stock. mine originaly had a 400, no emblems, but i slapped a 454 in it.

Re: 8-454 emblem question

Definitely not factory, only aftermarket. They didn't put a 454 in a truck until at least 1973.

No, you wouldn't have. The '73 up had a different emblem in the grill. The 8-454 are just an aftermarket emblem.
