ASHTRAY MOUNT ? for my '72 pickup
Hey everyone! John here.
I have a '72 Chevy pickup and the ashtray was missing, and the mount sliders ruined. I got an ashtray and a slider mount from a 67~ish truck. Problem is, my truck had the slider mount tacked in place, and the one I bought was screwed in place, both factory mounted. I got my tackwelded slider removed easily enough. It doesn't seem to fit right, either with the upper lip above or below the mating surface of the dash. Any ideas? THANKS! |

Re: ASHTRAY MOUNT ? for my '72 pickup
there are 3 different ash tays and mounts for 67-72's. 67 only ash tray is straight. 68-70 have ball bearing type ash trays and a slight curve. 71-72 have plastic sliders and slight curved ash tray
