Site notification emails revisited.

Recently we have had a bunch of folks replying to notification emails again. These emails are notification only, they state that on them. If you reply to them, they end up in the site email account and no one sees them. This can really mess up your deals when replying to FS threads, or PMs about where to ship etc..

Also, we have been getting a ton of "out of office" email auto replies. If you are using a business email and have this function, please change to a different email. Between the replies to auto mail, and the auto replies to subscribed threads... it is difficult to get to the actual user emails.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Re: Site notification emails revisited.

Have you thought of putting something like

********** PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL**********

as the first sentence of the email?

For example:

This is the header of an email notification I just got from the site:

The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network accounts@67-72chevytrucks.com to me

show details 2:00 PM (1 hour ago)

********** PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL**********
