I am replacing all my rubber suspension components, body mounts, trans, and motor mounts with polyurethane(PST) components. Is this a good or bad idea? Should i just do rubber?

very good idea.....gets rid of the sloppy, worn out, rubber crap...just grease them up good!

IMO dont do the engine and trans mounts. I put them on my old S10 and the vibration at idle was crazy. For a daily driver it was very annoying, esp with the A/C on....

I think they belong in the sway bar bushings... anywhere else, I think they are overkill. New rubber is probably better,

I replaced all my cab mounts with poly on one of the trucks I built, a 78 or 79. It stiffened the truck up considerably, was so harsh I hated it and replaced it with GM rubber after 2 weeks. When I took them back out one of the radiator support mounts was split nearly in two. Rubber makes it ride like a new truck, poly makes it feel like theres no suspension under you. And I'm not particularly picky about a smooth ride. So thumbs down from me.

Polygraphite bushings work great. I have them on my triuck. Strength of poly and softness of rubber! Use them you like them.

I have the Polygraphite bushings on my upper and lower control arms and swaybar. I dont think it can hurt.

FYI energy suspension's black bushings are polygraphite as well. The red ones are just straight poly....

Formerly a cab and chassis, now a fleetside dually with the rear wheels tucked underneath. 454/th400/np205/C14/D60, 6/4 inch LIFT, not drop.
