Were can I get my hands on a new blend door for my A/C box. They seem to be nonexistent.

Re: The Elusive Door.

Show us a pic of your popsicle repair. Show me a farther back shot of where the door is.

Re: The Elusive Door.

I would except it is in the truck. I "fixed" it when I had the box out when I first got the truck 2 years ago. The A/C didn't work at the time and I didn't think the door would affect the temp. This is my daily driver so I would like to have the door before I tear into it for the third time.

Re: The Elusive Door.

I think the door we have discussed is your door. I just can't confirm it. The fresh air doors are vacuum operated on an a/c truck and hand op'd on heat cabs. The illustrations look like it would pull off the cowl but I think its a representaion of a vacuum operated door further inside the box.

Re: The Elusive Door.

If you fixed a door with popsicle sticks, that would have to be the diverter box. I just bought one from the truck shop for $80. It is a gm part.

So the heat did fry my memory!
Now that you say that I recall a little better the layout of my doors. Is the blend door the one in the firewall?
