recently bought a 67 step side that was originally nantucket blue. it's bright yellow right now with a cheap paint job that looks good from a distance and is no doubt keeping it from rusting. i think there is absolutely no bondo on this truck ( i was looking for a 66 but the body on this thing was so good i couldn't pass it up for 2500.00 ). anyway, i'm thinking about taking it to the metal and i'd like to see what this truck looked like in nantucket blue but have had no luck finding a picture online. has anybody out there any pics?

Re: new member

thanks nds. i don't think that's it but it looks good. i'm not 100 percent set on going back to the original color. i'm pulling the six and dropping a 327 in it, the guy before me changed the shifter to the floor and i'm leaving that. i do want to go back to a chevy color, though. i want this thing to be kind of a sleeper. i'm having the motor built up a little but i don't really want the truck to look like a complete hot rod. i definitely want to lower it a little. i put 265/60-15's on it and new shocks and the tire wells look empty. it almost looks lifted.
