Question Ebay Radiator?

What do you guys think is this worth it? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CAMAR...Q5fAccessories looked at this guys feedback and seems legit and ebay says hes a top seller also a plus with 99.5% possitive...i know there were a few members that went this route with a different seller "Entropy" i believe but this guys shroud looks better and is a lil cheaper...main concern is if it will cool enough in 115 degree weather with A/C

Re: Ebay Radiator?

My beef is that it does not have tranny cooling lines. You'll need the biggest external cooler you can mount. There are less expensive options. Now if you are going for looks, it's looks great. Fan are great products. I recommend two options for this setup. First, upgrade the condenser to a cross flow unit. Second, enclose the area between the condenser and radiator. You want max air flow across both units. Especially the condenser. Your A/C will be happy. You'll need a good alternator. With the A/C on, the fans will run most of the time.

Re: Ebay Radiator?

what other options would i be looking at? thought about making my own kit through summit but it would still be around the same amount roughly and be cool is way too expensive, saw a thread where someone put http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FLX-298/ on the stock radiator but idk how long that plastic shroud would last...i already have a beefy external tranny cooler, 140 amp alternator and i have a VA set up so all a/c is new

Re: Ebay Radiator?

Reliable radiator sells some nice radiator and fan kits. Not sure if that is who you have linked above. I was going to go with them but they don't offer the in/outlet on the pass side for the LSX swap.

Re: Ebay Radiator?

Look at http://www.northernfactory.com/. Universal Parts sells their products. I am running a Summit brand (Northern) radiator specific to the 73-87 and and the Universal Parts (Northern) fans and could not be happier.

Re: Ebay Radiator?

Mark VIII fan (two speed), aluminum radiator (www.radiator.com), added external transmission oil cooler.

I'm looking at adding a Mark VIII fan to a BB shroud. Or just go to a clutch fan with plastic blades.
