First car show of 2011 and..... - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I pulled the 69 out of the garage last week and entered it in a local show (about 150 vehicles). It is the first show I've been able to go to this year and the first judged show I've been in since I finished my resto. last year. The results? Best of Show - Production. I was not really expecting it because there were some nice stock cars there, and the judges usually lean to the Camaros and Chevelles. I guess they like old farm trucks after all!!

It's easier to have an original car than a truck. Especially a top-of-the-line truck. I'd say these judges were what judges are meant to be...unbiased!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Maybe the judges were glad to see something other than the usual, but no doubt they know quality when they see it though.
