Re: exhaust exit ???

MIght look at a marine supply business for the tips. Most should have a fairly decent collection of tips that are 'through the hull' design.

I'm also thinking about doing that. I keep bouncing around between doing one per side or trying to have them both exit on the same side.

Re: exhaust exit ???

I found these two and a couple other variations (http://www.stylintrucks.com/category...aust_tips.aspx). Not sure if this is what you're looking for or not.

Re: exhaust exit ???

I would just make them yourself. They charge a good chunk of change for them and I think its doable.

Re: exhaust exit ???

crownline makes a nice side exit exhaust for some of their boats. I try ebay or boat salvage. http://www.crownline.com/2011/models...s/lpx-package/

Re: exhaust exit ???

I agree it looks cool, but be careful what you wish for. My exhaust exits in front of rear tires about three quarters of an inch under the body and I am already noticing discoloration. Looks cool sound cool (actually quiet, for long tube headers and flow master super40's) but I have a feeling it could easily turn into a problem, and I'm not even going through a body panel. Just some food for thought. Tim

Re: exhaust exit ???

You'd have to provide some kind of isolation material to connect the exhaust pipes to the trim that is attached to the body. I'm thinking that the part that passed through a body panel, would ultimately damage the paint and/or the body. I could be wrong, tho. It's just my opinion.

Re: exhaust exit ???

IF i decide to do it this way, i may just have to make my own, but if i do, it will probably either be flush, or stick out past the side of the body just about a 1/2". also, it will have some sort of flex pipe if it is hard mounted to the body
